Hope this crappy mid-May weather isn’t keeping you from a healthy Shack Stack diet.

If you’ve tried out Shakedown, you know that it runs on top of the Foursquare API. Well, so does a lot of other stuff! Foursquare has set up an App Gallery to showcase all of their wares. So, now Shakedown has a spot in the gallery! And, not only that, but you can LIKE the page on Facebook (if you haven’t quit Facebook already). How about that!

Meet the Mayor

If you’ve been keeping up with Zagat, you know that they’ve been running a new series called Meet the Mayor, in which they profile the Foursquare crown wearer in hot NYC establishments. Surprisingly, it took three entire posts for them to mention that “Shake Shack” spot, not sure if you’ve heard of it.

This week it’s all about Sahu Habibi, Shakedown user who took the mayorship back after I had a cup of coffee with it in February. Check it out!

Shakedown now free in the App Store

I’m super excited about the iPhone OS 4 announcement, so excited in fact that I’ve decided that Shakedown should be a free app which is ad supported. iAd won’t be available until the summer, but guess what? I’m making Shakedown free TODAY.

So go get it

And P.S. - if you haven’t already - tell your friends to download! This app is useless to people who have no friends. But if that’s your problem, getting to the front of the Shake Shack line faster should be the least of your concerns.

Fixed issue where check-ins could be submitted twice in succession

For your eating enjoyment, Version 1.1 is now at the back of the queue for app store approval. It’s a shame that there is nothing like Shakedown for that line! Will it get logjammed due to speculators charging for the iPad Gold Rush? Well, maybe! But it’s going to rain all week anyway, so no big whoop.

NoLita? More like NoShakeShack.

It’s like, Super Bowl media week, or at least close to it, and Shakedown media day, I suppose. Some blogs blogged about it.

Everybody loves it! Well actually, if you clicked the links, you’ll see that that is not necessarily the case. But then more burgers for us, and a shorter line.

Shakedown is now available in the app store

It only took about 48 hours, and now Shakedown is available for download in the app store! Get it, use it, and EAT.
